Waterproof Polypropylene 4" x 6" Direct Thermal label for use with 4" mobile or desktop printers. Ideal for applications where high durability and weather resistance is necessary. Compatible with Seiko 4" MP-A40 printers.
The polypropylene face stock material is durable, tear & puncture resistant, and ideal for withstanding harsh conditions, moisture, and liquids. The polypropylene label resists abrasion and scratching better than paper labels making them a good option for labeling items that may encounter rough handling and harsher conditions.
NO RIBBONS REQUIRED. Direct Thermal printers use heat to create the image so they don't require ribbons and are a cost-effective option.
Direct Thermal label/paper stock is chemically treated to darken when heat is applied by the printers print-head. Although this option eliminates the need for ribbon, the results are less durable and may fade over time when exposed to light or heat.

Remove first wrap of labels to prevent jamming in printer from the glue or tape adhesive.
Storing thermal paper & label stock:
1. Store thermal paper in a cool, dry place with a temperature below 77°F (25°C) and a relative humidity between 45% and 65%.
2. Store labels in a file cabinet to avoid sunlight, light sources, and chemicals. Keep inventory in original packaging and keep away from direct sunlight, artificial light and UV light which can cause fading and discoloration.
3. Store the rolls vertically, but do not stack more than 3 rolls on top of each other at a time.
4. Rotate stock regularly and use FIFO procedures (First In First Out).
