Lightweight and easy to use, the ASR-023B Finger-Type Scanner is worn on your right index finger and reads the most common 1D/2D barcodes by pressing the trigger with your thumb. The wearable hands-free design lets you work more efficiently since both hands can be used. The Finger Scanner is set to be used on the right hand and the hook & loop band is easily adjustable for multiple users and can be used with or without gloves.
Using a CMOS Sensor and a red aiming laser, the ASR-023B finger ring scanner will read barcodes from approximately 1.0" to 9.5" depending on the barcode type, size, and density. Depending on your settings, the built-in 400mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery will scan approximately 8,000 scans between charging. The scanner will fully charge in approximately 1.5 hours and can be charged using the magnetic detachable connector and USB Type-C connection (note: the wall AC Adapter is not included). FCC/CE certified, the scanner can be operated from 14°F to 113°F (-10°C to 45°C) at 10~90%RH (however, please charge at 0°C or more). The Action Indicator light at the back of the scanner is red when charging and will turn off when fully charged. The Bluetooth Indicator light will be solid blue when connected and blink or off when disconnected. When the trigger button is pressed, the scan window will emit a red beam and a beep sounds when the barcode is scanned.
If the scanner is set to Real-time Mode once the barcode is scanned it will immediately send the data transmission to the device or PC up to 33 feet/10 meters away. If the scanner is set to Buffer Mode the device's built-in 1.8MB flash memory can store up to 90,000 barcodes to be downloaded later using the USB cable to connect to a computer like an external drive.
For use in areas when a scanner is needed in high-security areas where smart devices, cellular, imagers, video, WiFi, or Bluetooth devices are not allowed (for example Military SCIFs). The Finger Scanner can be set in Buffer Mode to meet the high-security requirements and record the data for downloading later when out of the secure area.

Do not charge the battery in wet environments as water may leak through the grip and the intallation port of the AsLock Header to the battery. CMOS Laser Product. Do not look into the laser beam or point at at other people. Looking directly into the laser beam may cause damage to your eyes. If you suspect a laser beam injury seek medical attention immediately.

Use this cable with your own wall AC Adapter that provides an output of 5V/1A (not included in this kit). Using different cable or output chargers may result a malfunction and is not covered by the warranty.
If the scanner gets wet, please wipe it off immediately with a clean, dry cloth.
