DuraForce PRO 2 Unlocked is intended for use in the United States. Although capable of working on most networks, contact your service provider prior to purchase to confirm compatibility. Please see Service Provider Compatibility section below for more information.

Service Provider SIM Cards are required for operation (not included with this phone).

1. Device may not perform as tested in all conditions. Test performed in a controlled environment.

2. IPX5/IPX8  waterproof/water immersion to a depth of 6.5’ (2m) for 30 minutes.

3. Ensure all ports and covers are properly sealed, with no foreign objects obstructing the seals, to maintain waterproof capability. The phone should never be used under water with a broken or open SIM/MicroSD slot cover. Avoid using your phone in saltwater as it is highly corrosive and can damage internal components and degrade the audio performance over time. Always rinse your phone in fresh water immediately after using it underwater. 

4. Recognizes touch input while wearing gloves up to 3mm thick; the material, texture and thickness of the glove as well as how it fits your hand will impact performance. Individual results may vary.

Will DuraForce PRO 2 Unlocked work on my Service Providers’ network?

Compatibility of an unlocked device with a service provider’s network is a spectrum rather than a black and white distinction. Devices will often work on a network but perform sub-optimally due to limited compatibility. Our devices support most network bands of most service providers (see Specifications section). However, due to the service providers’ access restriction policies, as well as knowledge of a specific device’s compatibility, there is a possibility that the service provider’s network may not be available.

Activation
Activation of an unlocked device may or may not be supported since the device is unknown to the service provider. 
Step 1:  Use a previously activated SIM card or activate your SIM card on a service provider-approved device and verify operation such as making calls, sending text messages and accessing the mobile web on the network. 
Step 2:  After verifying proper function, remove SIM card from approved device and insert SIM card into the unlocked device to use it.

If  your unlocked device fails to work after inserting the SIM card, please contact your service provider to check if your SIM card is already tied to a device (such as when under a contract).  If it is, request that your service provider unties the previous device from your SIM card so that it may be used on your unlocked device. 

What is the best way to clean the device?  Your DuraForce PRO 2 device can be safely cleaned with mild soap and water. It can also be disinfected with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Kyocera International, Inc. (“KYOCERA”) offers you a limited warranty that the enclosed product or products (the “Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period that expires one year from the date of sale of the Product to you, provided that you are the original end-user purchaser of the Product and provided that your purchase was made from an authorized supplier. Transfer or resale of a Product will automatically terminate warranty coverage with respect to that Product.

This limited warranty is not transferable to any third party, including but not limited to any subsequent purchaser or owner of the Product. KYOCERA shall, at its sole and absolute discretion, either repair or replace a Product (which unit may use refurbished parts of similar quality and functionality, and which will include the KYOCERA standard default software) if found by KYOCERA to be defective in material or workmanship, or if KYOCERA determines that it is unable to repair or replace such Product, KYOCERA shall refund the purchase price for such Product, provided that the subject Product (i) is returned, with transportation prepaid, to a KYOCERA authorized service center within the one year warranty period, and (ii) is accompanied by a proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale or receipted invoice which evidences that the subject Product is within the one year warranty period (“Proof of Purchase”). After the one year warranty period, you must pay all shipping, parts, and labor charges.
